Matthew begins the show by telling us his first memory when he fell in love with music. In the 1980’s he wrote songs in high school and talks about being in the band called- “The Specs.” He explains how he was discovered in 1984 when he signed a solo deal with Columbia records. We discuss his top 10 single “Girlfriend” that will be turning 30 along with the album that was re-titled. What was the original name and why was it changed?
