The guitarist from Steel Panther joins the Before the Lights Podcast after two months of shows were cancelled due to COVID-19.

Satchel shares why he chooses the guitar and what really made him WANT to play the guitar. He discusses his influences along with the first riff he learned. We talk about Jimi Hendrix, Stevie ray Vaughn, Eddie Van Halen and AC/DC then head into how Metal Shop was formed. Metal Shop then became Metal Skool, which is what we now know as Steel Panther.

Satchel gives us insight on how the chemistry of the band happened and later in the show the challenges, fights and therapy the band needed! The humor of the song writing is reveled, managers being fired and suing the band which was the break to get them to where they are today.

Their first festival in the UK, feud between Satchel and Tommy Lee (Motley Crue) and opening for GNR (Guns N Roses). How always being on tour never ends, being an interactive band and finally some funny questions for Satchel!
