L-R: Bill Morris (Attorney), Jim Ryan, Bobby Florence (UNLV Basketball Player)

Served in the Nevada Assembly for eight terms & on the Clark County Commission for one term. His political career was cut short when he was convicted of accepting bribes from a LA architect. He served in the Merchant Marines where he earned the nickname of -sailor.

The story of James Ryan who started out as Stanley Zawatski, ran away from an orphanage, and ended in Las Vegas, NV. After working on the Hoover Dam, he became a powerful Clark County Commissioner that was convicted of taking a bribe for a re-zoning vote.

A politically motivated move that still has unanswered questions.
